About the Holographic Printing Process

What sets this print apart isn't just the imagery — it's the printing process itself.

The process begins by separating the artwork into individual print channels. From these, a custom spot channel is created to control the placement of the white ink layer. This white layer acts as a mask, carefully revealing or concealing the Rainbow UniLustre holographic paper beneath it.

Where the holographic surface is left exposed, a selective gloss varnish is applied to enhance the interaction with light, intensifying the paper's iridescent spectrum and creating brilliant, shifting highlights.

The result is a print that changes with the viewing angle, where opacity, transparency, texture, and light work together to produce an image with remarkable depth and luminosity.
