Shipping policy

We take great pride in the quality of our goods. Every order is packed with care and attention to detail. CoSM is a small nonprofit art studio, not a mass distributor. Many of our items are handmade, signed, limited, or produced in small batches. Because of this, processing and shipping times may vary.

Order Processing

• Most orders take 7 to 10 business days to process.

Signed items, limited editions, and fine art prints may take extra time due to artist scheduling and careful handling.

• During major events and busy seasons (Full Moons, holidays, special releases, conferences), processing times may be longer.

• Once an order is placed, we cannot make changes to it.

• When your order ships, we will email your tracking number.

Pre-Order Items

• Pre-orders ship on or before the date listed on the product page.

• Pre-order timelines may shift due to production, printing, or signing schedules.

• If your order contains a pre-order item, the entire order may ship together.

• If you want items sooner, email support@cosm.org to request separate shipping. Additional shipping costs may apply.

Carrier Choice

• CoSM reserves the right to change the shipping carrier based on our experience and the safety of your order.

• Fine art prints and international shipments often ship FedEx even if you select USPS or another service at checkout.

• We make these adjustments only to ensure safer and more reliable delivery.

International Orders

• Please allow up to 6 weeks for international delivery.

• Customs duties and taxes are your responsibility.

• You must provide a working phone number and email. If Customs cannot reach you, the package may be returned.

• If a package returns to us due to unpaid duties or incorrect contact information, you are responsible for the re-shipment cost.

• We cannot ship to Russia or China at this time.

• CoSM uses a flat rate for most international orders. In rare cases, some locations may require additional costs due to local customs rules or unusual fees. We reserve the right to contact you before shipping if your location requires additional charges.

Handcrafted, Signed, and Limited Items

• Many CoSM items are handmade, signed, or produced in small batches.

• Signed items ship only when the artists are available. If Alex or Allyson are traveling or teaching, this may add time.

• Limited editions, fine art prints, signed pieces, and one-of-a-kind works are final sale.

• Print numbers are assigned in the order sales are received. We cannot take requests for specific numbers or inscriptions.

Large, Original, or Freight-Only Items

• Originals, framed works, large canvases, bronze sculpture, and oversized pieces require special packaging and freight shipping.

• We will contact you directly to arrange delivery.

• Signature may be required upon delivery.

Combined Orders

• To reduce waste and limit shipping costs, orders with mixed items may ship together.

• If you need items separately, email us to request a split shipment. Additional costs may apply.

Damaged Orders

• If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 3 business days.

• Keep all packaging and provide photos of the item and the box.

• We will help you file a claim or arrange a replacement, depending on availability.

Missing or Lost Orders

• CoSM is not responsible for items lost or stolen after they are marked “delivered.”

• If you believe your package is missing, contact us within 30 business days of the shipment date.

• You must contact the carrier directly to open a missing-mail claim.

Returns

• Limited edition items, signed works, fine art prints, and pre-orders are final sale.

• Non-limited items may be eligible for return within 14 days if unused and in original condition.

• Contact support@cosm.org before sending anything back.

Address Responsibility

• Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate address.

• Additional shipping charges apply if the item returns to us due to an incorrect address.
