"Rainbow Cross is my latest completed oil painting, combining the cross, a symbol of life meeting death, and the rainbow, a symbol of beauty after the storm and good fortune at the rainbow's end. For many, a rainbow represents diversity embraced and inclusive love & friendship.
"X's" float in a meandering spectral river, each composed of a grid of color squares. The colors arrangement is determined by the unruly principle of planned randomness that implies order in a material world of chaos, balancing opposites." - Allyson Grey
