"Realms of the Unpronounceable," took three years to paint, entirely viewed through a magnifying halo lamp. The background is comprised of two mandala fields, painted in opposing complementary colors. Secret letters from one pattern field, appear embedded in the opposing pattern field,
Secret Writing originally appeared illuminated, floating through the air and hovering over all surfaces in my dark room. The Creator "spoke" to me through this Secret Writing, as a force, an energy flowing around & through all beings & things, communicating a mystic language. The sacredness of the language was clearly intuited, yet its meaning was ineffable and unpronounceable. Rumi & Sappho exemplify poetic voices who brilliantly translated the mystic inner realm.
