About the art:
While suffering in bed with a long illness, without sleep for many weeks, I was visited by an Ecliptic Angel. It seemed to radiate reassurance, even though I would go through an abyss there was promised renewal. The greenness of the Being hearkened to Springtime, leaves, grass, chlorophyll miraculously rebirthing life in the nature-field. The Inner Sun united with the Inner Moon of the Angel creating a temporary eclipse of my Soul and erasure of my self-narrative, opening a portal to the boundless lucid clarity at the source of all beings and radiating webs of spectral light into the space of all dimensions. Paintings can help us imagine and recover our connection with higher realms. Throughout history the Angel symbolizes humanity’s relationship with a spiritual dimension of reality, and opening to the Mysteries. - Alex Grey
